Canada

Canada is currently the only North American country with active Packaging Compliance Schemes (or Stewardship Programs). These run in Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Ontario, so if your business operates in one or more of these Provinces and produces packaged goods or printed paper, you may be an obligated Steward.

Established in 2015, Greenstreets Canada Inc. is based in Ontario and offers Stewardship services to clients serving in the 5 Provinces that EPR Packaging programs operate. We currently work with some of the largest food producers and retailers in Canada and would be delighted to help you with your Packaging or Sustainability reporting requirements

United States 

Although there are no plans to introduce Packaging Stewardship in the US at a federal level, many States are actively exploring this, with the strong likelihood that several in the north-east and in the west will move this way within two years. Greenstreets is actively monitoring this situation for a number of its European and Canadian clients.
